This is an interactive sculptural device reflecting on the structure of consciousness in everyday life. It examines the interrelationships between the physical, spoken, contemplative and emotional levels of experience at a particular moment in time. The passerby can adjust each layer to reflect their disposition, past, present or future. The commission was funded by Gerding Edlen with additional support from the Pacific Northwest College of Art’s WPA @PNCA program (Lacy Davis, Chad Hinman, Claire LaMont , and Tesar Freeman) and Zimco Design.
